Project Overview:
The mission of the Office of the Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Policy and Strategy (OADNI/P and S), a component of the ODNI, is to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of Intelligence Community:wide strategies, policies and processes to promote integration and responsible information sharing and safeguarding. The P and S vision is to achieve a fully integrated Intelligence Community (IC) shaped by sound policy and guidance.
:Assist with and support the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures that result in the effective sharing of information across the Government while protecting Intelligence and Law Enforcement sources and methods, operational equities, and U.S. persons privacy.
:Assist in the evaluation of the potential impact of obstacles to information flow across the IC and collaborate with policy analysts and IC partners to implement policy and process improvements.
:Support the planning of solutions to intelligence access issues experienced by departments throughout the IC and U.S. Government.
:Exchange information throughout the IC and to non:traditional customers by balancing the responsibility:to:provide principle with the need:to:know standard as defined by existing policies, laws, and regulations.
:Support the development and coordination of information sharing and/or safe:guarding policy guidance sourced from defined agreements and applied to IC elements.
:Continually expand personal expertise with regard to the development and implementation of information sharing tools, technology, plans, and policies to facilitate the cooperation and effective coordination of the ODNI, the IC, and other U.S. Government agencies.
:Collaborate on inter:agency and cross:directorate internal information sharing policies, guidelines, and procedures, and/or broker information sharing agreements with external entities.
:Engage in interagency information sharing activities and programs by coordinating and integrating the competing requirements and priorities of multiple stakeholders, to include planning and participating in interagency meetings.
:Prepare briefings and reports for presentations to ODNI leadership, senior policymakers, IC members, and other intelligence consumers in a manner that meets their specified requirements.
:Analyze strengths and weaknesses of complex security programs, processes, and procedures and develop new strategies for resolving complex problems or improving overall performance.
:Maintain knowledge of general security administration programs and one or more security specialties (e.g. sensitive compartmented information, personnel security, technical security, operations security).
:Maintain knowledge of IC, CIA, and ODNI security regulations, policies, and procedures in order to address and resolve ODNI security issues, violations, and questions, including the administration of access requests for ODNI leadership and staff.
:US Citizen
:Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
:Bachelors Degree in social, physical, natural or business sciences; humanities; mathematics; or data sciences preferred.
:The government will waive the Bachelors degree requirement if the candidate has a minimum of 7 years IC experience.
:5 years of demonstrated experience as IC control officer with the timely administration and management of accesses, including indoctrination and de:briefings and understanding of major roles and responsibilities.
