Internship January - March 2018 The Global Assignments Team is based in Herndon, Virginia and Chattanooga, TN. We are looking for a student intern to help us "Go Paperless!" This initiative will give insights into the overall expatriate life cycle, by helping to automate and integrate our manual processes, including the storage of documentation into our Global Assignments Team database, headquartered in Germany (the database is also in German, so intern will have opportunity to improve German professional language skills). * Lead "going paperless" initiative * Assist with scanning of all on-site files into new HR database * Responsible for maintaining records according to company record retention policy * Provide clerical and office administrative support * Must be enrolled at a University/College or Graduation date must be within the last six months * Pursing a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, with major/minor in German preferred * Have taken at least 3 classes in German or equivalent * Ability to work independently with limited supervision. * Excellent accuracy and attention to detail * Driven, motivated and proactive with a strong initiative and desire to learn. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Documentum/SharePoint/eRoom, etc) with the ability to troubleshoot if necessary. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to work up to 40 hours per week on-siteSDL2017
